The first day I spoke to Michele at HSP was after Skylar had just had a bad seizure due to a low blood sugar.  This was the fourth seizure he had in less than a year.  I was at the end of my rope. 

I had searched and read about HSP a few weeks before.  She phoned me just a few hours after my first e-mail.  She was wonderful and told me about the program and what the pros and cons of having a dog to go everywhere with you were.  We decided a week later this was the answer for us.   

Skylar met Harley and they hit it off right away.  Three hours later we had our first alert.  I was amazed.  It just got better and better. 

They play non-stop together and Harley is always on nose guard.  It is remarkable the way he is always paying attention to Skylar even if  he is sleeping or playing.  We have gone many places and people are always amazed how well behaved a dog can be.  He is a God send to us and so is HSP.
